GTA IV Download Content May Not Release In 2008 >
2008/11/11 13:21:16: Posted by DM
Variety published an interview with Dan Houser from Rockstar over the weeekend. He spoke about the Japanese release of GTA IV, and also why the download content for the game, promised by the end of the year, may not make release in 2008, in fact. It is going well, he said, but a release date is still elusive.

"It's going well, but we don't know a date," commented Houser. "We hope to be announcing that in the next few weeks. We're still figuring out a few things. We're more focused on quality than dates, always have been. But the development is going really good. It's shaping up to be something we're very proud of. That was our goal."

I forgot all about this DL content..If they were smart as we think that are they should release right before holiday season. I don't think they would though.. it might cut into their sales of GOW2 and Fable and whatever new release that on the market, Just My thoughts.. PS3 FTW.

With the lack of any concrete info on this DLC, I hope no one really expects this to be out this year.

Since the $$ to make the DLC is already fronted, they don't have really worry about pushing out games within their fiscal year for the earnings. When MS expects that $$ back though, they better have the episodes done with, though that won't be for some time.
