Well said, my friend!

You and I were thinking the exact same thought.

Unreal Tournament 3 will be great on the Xbox 360...it will be the best console version of the game, because it will have the highest resolution and best framerate in a console version.

But, in all honesty, I think the PC is where the Unreal series belongs. No Unreal game has ever sold well on consoles, and I don't think any Unreal game ever will, not even on the Xbox 360.

PC will get Unreal 3 first...and PC will get Unreal 3 best...PC will even get Unreal 3 at the lowest cost, and it doesn't have really high hardware requirements. So, I think PC will be where Unreal finds the largest number of gamers to play.

if i were to say Killzone is a flagship game and there is no way Killzone can be played on 360,

i am sure faboys will say something,

as to UT3 it will be better on ps3 then on 360 thats no doubt !

i saw an ad for UT3 at gamestop. the main guy looks just like Marcus Fenix from Gears... funny!

well at least i dont see why it shouldn't come to 360 !

its unreal tournaments its meant for multiplatforms !

In terms of actual game performance...things like Resolution, Framerate, Polygon Detail, Lighting, Shading, ect...the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 will be superior to the Playstation 3 version.

The PC version will offer performance that is superior to all other versions...but in terms of technical performance, the Xbox 360 will be the best console version available in terms of visual performance.

There are a few reasons for this:



(1) Steven Polge of Epic has said in several interviews that although the game will be released first for PC, the Xbox 360 is actually the Lead Development Platform...the only reason why the Xbox 360 version will not be released alongside the PC version is because of the strict standards of Xbox Live that Epic needed to negotiate with Microsoft.

(2) The PC and Xbox 360 both use DirectX versions of the Unreal Engine, whereas the PS3 uses an OpenGL version of the Unreal Engine. The PS3 has a bad reputation for having games cancelled and delayed using the Unreal Engine...of course, that may not necessarily be the fault of the Unreal Engine, because the PS3 has plenty of games that have been Delayed and Cancelled using all sorts of different graphic engines.

(3) The thought of an Xbox 360 game being released later than a PS3 game, and having less quality is inconceivable...that seems impossible, because it has never happened, and likely will never happen.

If they were taking bets in Las Vegas, you can safely bet that the odds would significantly favor the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 as being the best console version of the game.
