	According to GamingExcellence, when covering the recent PS holiday preview event, it was revealed that the developers of GTA IV are aiming for 16 player mutiplayer. In addition, the developers were also considering having the entire game world unlocked from the start. We also understand that the game’s multiplayer mode, unseen in the GTA franchise since GTA2 in 1999*, is aiming for at least 16 simultaneous players, with more than just the usual deathmatch mode. >Link

if this is what they were doing, then the delays are understandable, i know zwandaba is going crazy/bonkers right now knowing how big a fan of GTA he is

I have to say that I was never a big fan of Grand Theft Auto games.

I will probably eventually buy GTAIV for the Xbox 360, after I have beaten Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and a few others.

Also, the Xbox 360 version has 20 extra hours of exclusive gameplay because of the two exclusive levels.

My favorite game in this particular "genre" of "Sandbox" games is Crackdown, on the Xbox 360. The Co-Op online mode is fantastic! It really is SUPER-FUN!!!



I guess I like the idea of being a genetically engineered good guy and throwing cars at the bad guys more than being a normal bad guy.

Krogan...i'm the same way. I never cared for the series at all. I'm sure it will sell well and people will really enjoy it. Speaking of sandbox games....Assassins creed is going to be absolutely amazing!!
