	In a move that is sure to upset PC enthusiasts everywhere, a recent interview that details the beginnings of the Unreal Engine 4.0, the Epic folks revealed that the software will target mainly video game consoles. The PC will be the fourth platform considered, apparently. Oh boy, this has debate written all over it. Version 4 will exclusively target the next console generation, Microsoft's successor for the Xbox 360, Sony's successor for the Playstation 3 - and if Nintendo ships a machine with similar hardware specs, then that also. Why would this shock anyone? Console gaming continues gain momentum and has the most financial reward, there are very few people willing to invest in a PC that is capable of delivering graphics that visibly exceed the console version of a game.

This is proved by the US sales figures for Unreal Tournament 3 at 33,000 in it's first month and Crysis at 80,000.

actually i am not suprise, look at original playstation, it was famous until PC came better graphic no ? and then playstation 2 beat it out until PC came out again, now ps3, and pc will come out again later... no ???

its how it work... PC always be better because its upgradeabe every month,

PC always lose but they always come back ,

If im wrong, take a look at it again, standard pc games graphic are used two video card which is SLI ready !, and ps3 and xbox 360 is one single card...

this news really doesn't suprise me...

Great, more shovel-ware online shooters coming to consoles ...

unreal and crysis both sold over 1M it took them a while but the got there, it is far different to previous years pc game sales thought that would of been an instant. This isn't surprising at all, the next xbox,ps and nintendo console i'd say would be very close to pc technolgoy just look at them now there almost the same, The ps3 even has to install some games.

The next console line will effectively be pc's so saying there developing unreal 4 for consoles doesn't mean much.
