The Shivering Isles expansion for TES IV: Oblivion is coming to the PSN Store for the PS3 on November 29. No word on the price yet, but it should be comparable to the Xbox360 version. Initially the download will only be available here in the states, why this is we are not sure.

Bethesda spoke to CVG about downloadable content for Fallout 3, the upcoming third installment of the popular sci-fi RPG. Pete Hines, VP of Bethesda, said that the DLC choice would be made after the game was content complete in and of itself. Chances are though, considering the success of the Oblivion DLC, there will be add-ons forthcoming.

Apparently, the Gameshark website is now conducting interviews with game developers. They spoke with Gavin Carter from Bethesda, the Lead Producer for the upcoming Fallout 3. The third installment of this popular sci-fi RPG series has a lot to live up to, and Gavin breaks it down. The game's mechanics will be similar to Oblivion, especially since the game uses the same engine.

Bethesda has announed the Game Of The Year edition for their award Elder Scrolls IV game. The GOTY release will appear on both next-gen consoles, as well as Windows-based PC. The full GOTY edition will be packed-in with the original Elder Scrolls IV storyline, The Shivering Isles expansion, and the downloadable Knights of the Nine content. The Fallout RPG series is one of the most popular post-apocalypse sci-fi RPG games, and in the three years it has been announced, Fallout 3 has been talked about much. Bethesda is ramping up the press campaign for the new Fallout game, and today is no exception. Famed actor Liam Neeson has been announced as one of the people lending their voice talents to the project. In fact, the role was designed some what with Liam in mind. Sounds promising! May 8, 2007 (Rockville, MD) – Bethesda Softworks® is pleased to announce that highly acclaimed international actor Liam Neeson will lead the cast providing voice work in Fallout 3. Neeson will play the role of the player’s father and will appear prominently throughout the game. Fallout 3 is currently under development at Bethesda Game Studios, creators of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion®, which won numerous Game of the Year and RPG of the Year awards in 2006.

It seems that the UK retailer GAME is refusing to sell the Playstation 3 incarnation of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game, of course, is in high demand, but sales will be hampered by the top specialty store not selling the game at all. Stay tuned, GAME could not be reached for comment.
