For those of you asking about the Fallout 3 system requirements, Bethesda has finally posted them. The minimums are not that bad, any gamer who uses their PC likely has better already.

Windows XP/Vista
1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)

Bethesda has revealed that the PS3 version of Fallout 3 will not ship with support for the new Playstation 3 trophy system. The voice of Bethesda, Pete Hines, confirmed this, but did not rule out support being added later in the game's life.

Bethesda has posted 5 new gameplay videos for Fallout 3 over at the official website. This is going to be one of the biggest games of the year, and it still looks just great. You should be able to get a great idea about the gameplay from this footage, as well.

Bethesda today officially announced the release date of Fallout 3. October 23, 2008 will see the game on store shelves. For Europe the date is Halloween, October 31, 2008. Well, Halloween in the USA, anyway. Click read more for the full info.

Gametrailers has posted some gameplay video of Fallout 3, along with an Todd Howard interview from Bethesda. As you can see, this may indeed be on the same scale as Oblivion. Frankly, it feels more like Morrowind to us, but that's just splitting hairs. Check it out below.

For some reason, a lot of day or two old news is just coming to light today. Pete Hines spoke with TVG, and the man who speaks for Bethesda Softworks admitted that they never planned to make one Fallout game when they acquired the rights. Common sense, sounds like. Pete Hines even said that a Fallout 5 is certainly possible, but that was years ago. Fallout 3, at least from what we have seen, is set to be one of the best games out of Bethesda this year. We will know in a month or two.

Bethesda claims that Fallout 3, their post-apocalyptic RPG, will contain over 40,000 lines of dialogue. This is about 20 times the amount contained in the original game. In fact, this puts the game on par with Fable II. The info comes from a new Q&A posted on the official forums. There are also three new screens, click read more to view them.

Bethesda has announced the special Survival edition of Fallout 3 for all three platforms. The Survival edition includes a life-size replica of Pip-Boy, which also acts as a digital world clock. Click read more for the full info.

The Shivering Isles expansion for TES IV: Oblivion is coming to the PSN Store for the PS3 on November 29. No word on the price yet, but it should be comparable to the Xbox360 version. Initially the download will only be available here in the states, why this is we are not sure.

Bethesda spoke to CVG about downloadable content for Fallout 3, the upcoming third installment of the popular sci-fi RPG. Pete Hines, VP of Bethesda, said that the DLC choice would be made after the game was content complete in and of itself. Chances are though, considering the success of the Oblivion DLC, there will be add-ons forthcoming.
