The other interesting option on this mouse is the tilt action available in the scroll wheel. This is a nice addition since it allows for more versatility without adding more buttons. It works by pushing on the sides of the scroll wheel, giving gamers a new way to move through gaming environments (it’s also nice for scrolling horizontally in webpages).

So for all the nice things we have to say, there has to be some downside, even though in this case its minimal: the battery life is rather short. For an average gamer who puts in a few hours a day, the battery will start getting low after about 48 hours (for hardcore gamers putting in 8+ hours a day, you might even be changing daily). One of the reasons the battery life is shorter is because the sleep mode on this mouse doesn't kick in for about a minute, that way it won't accidentally switch on for a few seconds of idleness during gaming (many other cordless mice go to sleep after 10 seconds). However, because you receive 2 batteries with this mouse, and one is always charging, there is literally no downtime with the mouse, a huge plus. And since swapping out the batteries literally takes all of 5 seconds, the actual single battery length is really not too much of a drawback.

All said and done we were quite pleased with this mouse. We highly recommend it not only for gamers, but for every day use as well.
