It seems like the thing to do these days when you have 2 or 3 successful titles under your belt, is to then leave with a few of your cronies and start a new dev house. This is exactly what Bob Rafei and E. Daniel Arey did. The new studio, Big Red Button Entertainment, is apparently working on 6 original next gen titles. Six! Imagine that. You can bet at least half will be platformers since the resume of the founders reads like a who's who of top platform games. Jak, Daxter, Crash, etc.

If comments from Crytek boss Cervat Yerli are to be believed, Crysis 2 will hit stores in about 3 years, or 2010 to be precise. The studio boss also revealed that Crysis, which is designed as a trilogy, has a movie in the works for sure. Seems like the guys over at Crytek are going to be busy for years to come.
