	According to the latest Bungie update, the upcoming Halo 2 PC port will feature a map editor as well as some brand new maps exclusive to the PC. This should make the title worth buying even if you have played it on Xbox. >Link

Hmm, I dunno if halo2 is enough to make me upgrade to vista.

No no no... halo 3 on vista would have people playing it on pc and not the 360. Halo 3's purpose is to sell 360s and alot of them and I honestly don't see Halo 3 hitting the pc until late 2009 or early 2010 at the soonest.

Putting their biggest franchise on the pc where it will be pirated for its single player experience is a terrible idea anyway. Thats like Square Enix putting final fantasy XII and versus 13 on the pc. Plus many that are interested in halo, but are too stubborn to buy a 360 would find an easy way out Bungie wont allow that they want to see the 360 do well.

The reason halo 2 is sent to the pc is because pc gaming needs a major kick in the ass and halo 2 isn't the best attempt, but its a taste of whats to come. There is a reason why nobody takes risks when making pc games besides companies like bethesda. Does any think kojima will bring mgs4 to the pc? How about Mass effect, blue dragon or final fantasy XIII & Ninja Gaiden 2 for the pc? The pc doesn't get games like that because of piracy nobody will spend so much money on development only to get ripped off.

Actually a lot of companies do it because you only have to make the game for 1-3 sets of hardware. Not 15 million different combinations of such.
