	According to this internal Best Buy newsletter submitted to us by a reader, the new shipment of Xbox360 consoles will hit stores on December 16. The document looks to be real, but as always, take it with a certain amount of scrutiny. It also states that the bonus remote will not be included in this next shipment. I doubt its real, besides look at the bottom left paragraph (under Rolling Stones)it reads:

(just look at the high resoultion picture of it, you can see they've tried to make it look like a fax or a scanned copy) I seriously doubt the source was from an internal network. So to me, I said ME ok ;) it seems like a fabrication so don't get your hopes up.

You are right, its obviously taken from a webpage, but I would assume that someone did a printscreen of the webpage, then that printed page got scanned.

This is an internal newsletter that is in html format on the bb intranet.

I think this is totally legit...I am one of the 14 million customers that got the coupon for the exclusive sales event this weekend...Either it is an especially elaborate and detailed ruse or its the real thing...I totally think it's the real thing...

I'm a Best Buy employee, and I can acknowledge that this is legit. What you don't see is the document we received 2 days later telling us to hold ALL Xbox 360s until Dec. 18th. They'll be featured in the ad that week. So they may be arriving the 16th, but you won't get one till the 18th.

I was at Gamestop this weekend and they said they are expecting a decent size shipment around the 15th. That would jive with the Best Buy notice.

I saw another online store claim that they'll be getting new stock on the 16th. It would fit in well with being nearly 1 week after the Japanese launch. I'm hoping (doesn't mean that it's true) that after the shortage of units they're releasing a massive stockpile...I can hope if I want.

This is Microsoft way to increase the demand and product awareness. all of us in here and all over the net are talking about it - it would cost truck load of money to get the same marketing penetration. i tried everything at retail stores with no luck. i even had it pre-ordered but the store now clams they don't have any. i'm trying my luck at Uniqueauction.com lets see what happens. I know at least one person who has already got one from UniqueAuction. When they launched their first auction they had “buy it now link – my friend bought it and received his already. They offered him more money to buy it back but he said no, apparently “buy it now link for Xbox was suppose to be for platinum members only. I wonder how many more they still have left.

I work as a Mosaic rep at our local Best Buy store, and can also concur that indeed it's true that they will have Xbox's available for sale on the 18th!! But to hope they have a huge amount, well don't get your hopes up, our store received 36 for launch day and will receive 28 this time, which most likely could be less by the time they actually arrive. There is no way the demand will be met before Christmas especially considering how many retailers took pre-orders, for instance I know our local Ebgames has 250 preorders they have not been able to fill yet, so obviously at the rate they are getting sent out most likely those preorders won't even be filled before X-mas. Fortunately I was one of those crazy people who slept on the sidewalk for launch day and I also got a special reward zone member preorder opportunity right before launch :)

i just think its sad that xbox 360 were one pr.person then how come there are so many people on ebay that have 28 or 16 for sale? then they are so expensive i sure dont know any one that can pay thoes prices. just heart break for my son and so many other children and im sure real gamers that wanted one. sad sad sad. microsoft you made money but broke many hearts.

M$ is out of there mind. Think of all the parents that are going to buy a PSP instead of a 360. No parent is going to sleep outside a Bestbuy to get little Jonny a 360 when they could sleep in til 12:30 ang grab a PSP. They might have gotten the younger crowd and older gamers excited about the 360 but I garuntee they lost millions of dollars from the middle and lower class because of the shortage this holiday season. Think about it most kids that don't have a job have parents that buy consoles for them, and most parents aren't going to buy a 360, PSP, and a PS3. Soon enough the PS3 will be the new hot item. M$ had a great chance at taking over as THE gaming powerhouse but I think they really messed up.

The retail insider is a document released every so often on the bestbuy intranet as a pdf document. The links in the pdf document link to other places inside the intranet. The reason you can't click on the link in this scan is because the person who submitted it is an idiot and printed it out then rescanned in instead of just taking the original pdf and uploading it.

Yes we will get xbox 360s between the 14th and 16th. Yes we will have to hold them ALL for the ad on the 18th. No you can't pre-order. No we don't have them in yet. No we can't hold one for you. STOP CALLING ALREADY! Jesus they won't even let us employees buy one before the ad or before the store opens. If we want one we have to wait in line just like every one else (which is bullshit but anyway...)

It's not bullshit you have to wait like everyone else. If you got to get them first not a single person who isn't an employee would have one in the world.

I know this documnet is real, and everything is being held till the 18th, coz' own a small retail store in MS and I have 300 units bought and paid for that are sitting in a truck in Miami, but cannot be sent to me until MS releases it. Its all about making sure nothing hits the market b4 Best Buy gets theirs... since they are the "official" store of the Xbox 360.

All I know, is that I spoke with an account manager with the company that handles all the retail markets for Microsoft this morning, and they informed me that there was a second "release" or "shipment" but they would not tell me when my units could be released to me.

This all sucks. The frustration I'm feeling will make me wait for the PS3. I'm even a Microsoft stock holder. I didn't pre-order so I probably won't be able to get one until Feb/Mar. Crazy.

I was once a loyal Microsoft/Xbox fan.

Are there going to be more shipments coming before the end of the year?
