MS will launch the video download service in Europe on December 11, 2007. The Pricing for the movies and videos will be £2 per movie in the UK, and 40 films will be initially available. The films stay on the console's hard drive for 14 days after being downloaded, and must be watched within 24 hours after the user first hits play.
