Sony has responded to angry consumers who are being forced to buy two games with the PSP Giga pack. Sony claims that stand alone pack will be available by Christmas if consumers wil just hold out a bit longer. The Gigapack includes a PSP unit and 1GB Memory Stick, and it cannot be bought as a standalone bundle. Let's hope once Sony does release a stand alone, consumers can acutally get their hands on it.

Tothegame has posted some new screens from Breath of Fire III for the PSP, and it looks to be one of the best looking sprite-based RPG games for the handheld to date. As long as the animations keep up with the artwork the screens show, and knowing Capcom they will, they game will be great looking (at least). As for gameplay, well, it is Breath of Fire. No suprises we are sure.

It seems the Tivo company is going to join the portable media frenzy. TivoToGo is extending its compatibility to include Sony's PSP and Apple's iPod. Of course, PSP and iPod owners will have to pay Tivo to unlock the part of the TivoToGo software which allows media transfer to the devices, but it will only cost between $15 and $30 dolllars. Users will also be able to set their PC to automatically sync their recordings to the portable devices. This is certainly a boost for the Sony handheld.
