Pac-Man & Galaga Xbox Live Arcade Screens >

Namco sends along two screens each from two of their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade offerings. These two legendary games are tailor-made for the XBLA, and as you can see, they get tarted up a bit.

It's cool that they are doing this. But I don't think I would want to purchase this as a download. Because if you think about it after all the Namco collection on every system this isn't really a game that I miss.

I would have one request. Let us reformat the game to run with a vertical screen, like the old arcade monitors.

Also, anyone remember Ikaruga (Gamecube)? That game played on a vertical screen a similar way, if I read the reviews righyt.

And they are expecting people are going to buy this? You can get it just about free anywhere. And if it doesn't add any type of utilization of a full screen hidef game then why bother??? How annoying and distracting is it to stare at those side border pictures the whole time. They should of done a scroll type of screen similar to Geo Wars.

Well lets be honest, when you go to the arcade that is what you see. There is normally a flashy boarder, and the whole map fits on the screen. At least for the tabletop Pacman games I played.
