Tekken Producer Says He Wants To Make Tekken Vs VF Game >

According to gamefront, Katsuhiro Harada, producer of the popular Tekken series, would like to make a Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter game. In an interview with "G wie Gorilla.de," arada answers: ' I would make such a thing with the Virtua Fighter series actually gladly times. We already thought that we could do something with the Virtua Fighter series on Dreamcast years ago together with the Virtua Fighter team. Unfortunately we couldn't make it at that time." Encouraging news!

That would be a dream come true for fighter fans, but one has to ask which controls would the games use. SF Alpha and SNK are close enough that it could work, but I don't think that VF and Tekken can work because of the drastically diffenent controls. VF and DOA sounds more obtainable.

I would think that the VF characters would use the VF control scheme while the Tekken characters would use the (superior) Tekken control scheme.

Any serious gamer that has beet'em ups as a favourite genre knows nothing else comes closer to the Virtua Fighter series in realism, depth, speed and movement accuracy.
