	Epic Game's Mark Rein admitted to Eurogamer that Unreal Tournament 3 may not make a 2007 release date for Europe. The company is very close to a release version, but then they must send it off for certification, which could take months. "Right now we're very close to a release candidate, and we should have it finished by the end of this week," he told our sitster site Eurogamer.net. If Europe won't even see the PC version of Unreal 3, then that is a pretty good indicator that the North American version will be delayed until close to the end of the year for PC.

Midway's CEO, David Zucker, already told shareholders that the PS3 version would not be available until 2008. And the Xbox 360 version will also be available in 2008 with exclusive features that take advantage of Xbox Live.



Unreal has never been a popular game on the consoles, though...it was always much more popular on the PC gaming market. So, this might hurt the sales of Unreal pretty bad in Europe, if the game isn't available for Christmas.

oh he loves to make stuff up about his beloved 360. exlcusive content! ha... the only thing unreal 3-60 will have exclusive is the lack of maps that the PS3 and PC will have. and ya, that was confirmed ;)

but dont worry, they will prolly package those maps as "exclusive downloadable content" that the PC and PS3 versions wont have because people are going to be "exclusively" downloading the maps that the PC and PS3 already have :P

I'll just get the ps3 version for more maps. I can't play that game on my pc.

i'm agreeing with kungfurabbit(hahha, still love the name). my PC may be a pretty good one, but not as good as needed to play Unreal 3 on it. urdnot has been running his mouth of how it can run at 1220p(or whatever number he put) and says it'll outperform the PS3. well duh! a comp is more customizable then the PS3 and you have the option of having up to date hardware. but not everyone has $5,000 gaming pc's and most dont even have the option to upgrade to "minimum requirements". i'm sticking with the PS3 version as well.

(1) The PC Hardware Minimum Requirements for Unreal Tournament 3 are not demanding at all. It really does take a powerful PC to play a game like Bioshock. But with Unreal Tournament 3, you can play it on Windows XP with an average powered graphics card.

In other words, the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 will outperform the Playstation 3 version, even if you don't have a new PC...but if you do have a newer PC with a newer graphics card, then the Playstation 3 version will be BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER!

(2) The PS3 version of Unreal 3 will only run at 720p at 30 frames per second (probably a choppy 30fps, like most PS3 games). And it will cost $60...it is NOT worth waiting for.

(3) The PC version of Unreal 3 will cost less than the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions, and the PC version will allow the highest level of performance. The PC and Xbox 360 are where you will find the largest number of competitors to play with. The PS3 version will have the smallest number of competitors to play with. In other words, if you want to play with other people, you better enjoy waiting for people to show up online.



(4) New Maps or Exclusive Maps: When Epic talked about Maps that would be exclusive to certain platforms, it was a comment that was misinterpreted. Mark Rein was simply saying that there is extra space on a Blu-ray disc, so they could theoretically include extra Maps. However, it was CONFIRMED afterwards that there would be no exclusive Maps found on the PS3 version. Anything found on the PS3 version will also be on the PC version.



(5) Now that the PS3 version has been delayed, we might end up seeing some extra Maps on the PS3 and Xbox 360 discs that were not originally found on the PC disc, because people will have time to develop new Maps, since the PC game is being released so much earlier.



(6) Sony definitely DID try to avoid honoring the Warranty of the Playstation 3 in Taiwan. This is a 100% proven fact. The people of Taiwan literally had to write to the government in order to have the government step in, and FORCE Sony to honor those Warranties. Sony then claimed that they only repaired two or three systems. YEAH RIGHT!!! Nice TRY and making up for the BAD PUBLICITY, but it FAILED!!!



(7) Oh, and by the way, it has now been 100% confirmed that Sony does NOT honor the Playstation 3 Warranty if there is "Too much dust in the system." Want proof? Just look at this website! It will provide a hyperlink to the main article that provides the Names of Employees, Names of Supervisors, Extension Lines, Identification Numbers, ect...and all sorts of other information that could NOT be faked.
