	The Spanish PSM magazine has some info on the GTA IV multiplayer modes. Firstly, there will be at least 15 game modes: Hangman's NOOSE, Car Jack City ,Bomb da Base, Bomb da Base II, Mafia Work, Team Mafia Work, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Turf War, Cops N Crooks, Race, GTA Race, Deal Breaker, Free Roam, and one more mode as yet unknown. Thhe host of the game makes the rules, of course, and in modes like Race and GTA Race, things like vehicles and laps are decided by the game spawner. Up to 16 players can join in as of now, that is likely to stay at that number for lag purposes. You can drive a car, boat, and even a helicopter this time around, and three players can join you in the vehicle if there is room. The single player mode called Hangman's Noose will feature co-op missions that you and your buddies can play together. The object is to escort a mafia made man while being ambushed by SWAT and the cops, and also the modes like Carjack, Turfwar, Bomb da base II, Free roam mode, and the 100 hours of single player give the game literally days of potential playtime. This could well be the game that revolutionizes next-gen, folks, and we are not even huge GTA fans here at GR.

Multiplayer sounds ok, but GTA4 single player is just the previous 3d GTA's with better grafx and a few new tricks. I don't think this game will define next-gen.
