Apparently, comic book magazine Preview has claimed that a new Castlevania game will be released for the Wii later this Fall. The magazine listed the info while it was detailing its PR campaign for a comic book based on the PS2 title, Curse of Darkness. We admit, they might have gotten confused with an upcoming Castlevania DS game. Rumor mill for now.

A new battle arena has been release for Mario Kart on the Wii. This is really the first downloadable content available for a Wii game. It is actually the first downloadable content for any Nintendo home console game, ever. Way to go Ninty!

It seems that they will just not give up on the Tenchy franchise despite the fact there has not been a great Tenchu game for a long time. Hopefully this one breaks the mold with some innovative control. From software is going to be bringing the new Tenchu 4 game to the Nintendo Wii, as you can see from the images at the link. If anyone can translate more info from the Japanese, please comment.

Even though many of us have had to do massive memory space rearranging to accomdate the downloaded WiiWare titles, Nintendo is still not offering a solution. Tom Prata, NOA's senior director of project development, spoke to IGN about WiiWare, and the upcoming 100 games slated for release. When asked about all the SD card copying and VC game deletion users are having to do, he basically repeated the Nintendo party line.

Tom Prata: Consumers have the option of either deleting the game and downloading it again for no additional Wii Points, or transferring the game from Wii to external SD memory card.

The Wii version of The Force Unleashed may not look as good as its big brother's editions, but it may control better. Now there is even a light-saber add-on planned for the Wiimote. Players can now use a real, visceral, saber while playing the game. Wow, may the force be with us. (Thanks, Pur)

As with most sequels this generation, Ubisoft has confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will be more accessible to gamers. Like many of this generation's games that are sequels to much older franchises, the game will be able to be picked up by anyone who wishes to play who is not familiar with the first game. Good news for most, bad news for hardcore fans.

"We saw with Beyond Good & Evil that so many customers were extremely happy with the game. We had a different audience at that time. We had more core gamers than casual gamers than we have today," Yves Guillemot told Next-Gen.biz.

According to Silconera, the Super Mario RPG will be hitting the Wii Virtual Console list this June. In Japan, at least. No word on when the game will hit the good old USA, but you can bet it will be shortly after.

According to Ubisoft, this amazing looking trailer is made with the actual in-game engine from Beyond Good & Evil 2. Not necessarily actual game play, but made with the game engine, so go figure.
