	In the latest Kojima Productions Podcast, Konami said that they are committed to the game's Q2 2008 projected release date. The game assistant producer Ryan Payton said "the next few months are going to be hell," as the game is on the cusp of entering the bug-checking phase. Sounds good to us. "We're committed. Mr Kojima of all people is committed to it because he really hates to disappoint people, and I know that he is embarrassed by what happened with the 2007 slip into 2008, because we even put it in our trailer with Raiden slashing away '2008' and when you go that far you put a seal on it and then he has to delay it - that really hurt." >Link

Yeah when it comes out in December

This will move a lot of ps3 consoles.

I want to buy a PS3 but still haven't found a reason too, this should be it though....

The Xbox 360 version will include levels and missions not found in the Playstation 3 version, so that is the one I will get.

I would love to use the 360's controller for this game but, theres no way i can wait 6 months to a year for it to finally come out on the 360.(If it ever does)

Don't work hard wasting money on the videogame industry. Trust me, spending time with your family is much more important than videogames.

Also, according to the extremely reliable sources that have proven themselves correct so many times in the past, the Xbox 360 definitely will be getting Metal Gear Solid 4...but the catch is, it will have a different sub-title for a name. That way, Konami can say "We told the truth that 'Metal Gear Solid 4: #####' was released exclusive for the Playstation 3." Even though 'Metal Gear Solid 4: $$$$$' is released exclusively for the Xbox 360, with extra levels not found in the PS3 version.

Where did that come from??? How about the heart...there is NO DOUBT that family and spending time with them is more important than videogames. When I write on the Internet, it is because I have nothing else to do, or because I had previously felt motivated to correct lies that were being spread.

For example, when Sony was saying that the PS3 would have 2 HDMI outputs, be released in spring of 2006--worldwide, and have 4D graphics, there were actually a lot of previously loyal fans that Sony was stringling along with those lies...and I was just making sure that people were aware that those were DELIBERATE LIES...which we now know they were!

Metal Gear Solid 4 doesn't need to be "Officially" Confirmed any more than Fight Night Round 3, Assassins Creed, Unreal Tournament 3, Devil May Cry 4, Virtua Fighter 5, ect...

The simple fact that such reliable sources--including developers who have actually been working on the game for over a year--have made it clear to reporters that the game has "not been announced for Xbox 360...'Yet'"

The word "yet" used by Kojima-san of Konami caused the entire audience at the trade show in Germany to start high-fiving each other, because that was basically 100% "Unofficial" confirmation that MGS4 would be released for Xbox 360.

Even my friend, B1ueBurner, points out that G4 and GameTrailers have repeatedly said, "It's not a matter of 'If' MGS4 will be released for the Xbox 360, but 'When' MGS4 will be released for the Xbox 360."

Urdnot, what would you say if MSG4 doesn't make it over to the 360??? Would you then go out and get a PS3 to play it? A true gamer won't be biased towards a particular gaming machine in order to play what appears to be a really good game.

all insults aside, and all 360 rumors aside as well. on topic, i'm glad to see Konami is trying hard to get this game out. i've been a fan since the PS1 days, and always like the MGS franchise. i've watched the tech demo's and trailers and so far i'm sold. DualShock 3 should be coming out soon so i'll have one ready to play this game come Q2.
