Activision To Triple Guitar Hero Releases Over Next 2 Years >
2008/09/16 16:21:03: Posted by DM
At the ActiBlizz publisher's day event, while speaking about the influence that the Guitar Hero titles have had on the music industry overall, Activision revealed that they have "big plans" for the franchise over the next 2 years. They plan to triple the amount of titles and downloadable content available. We said triple, folks. This means they will be actively looking for more developers to bring under the Guitar Hero banner, it seems. Exciting news.

I think Guitar Hero is diluting the market. GH2, GH3, GH 80s, GH Aerosmith, GHWT. And now triple that in the next few years?

I'm a much bigger fan of the Rock Band model. One game a year, with DLC support every week to augment the game.
