Electronic Arts' market share for the gaming industry in 2006 was a whopping 21% in the UK. That is more than doube the next nearest competitor, THQ, who came in at around 9%. EA has never been a slouch when it comes to sales numbers, but this is the best numbers that EA has posted in a long time. EA keeps on pumping out medicore games for the masses, and it seems to be working.
