	Ubisoft has confirmed that Haze will indeed be a total PS3 exclusive. First Radical's Sci-fi FPS is now being planned solely for the PS3, and they have even removed the PC and Xbox360 info pages from the Ubisoft website. The company spokesperson said that while Ubisoft is still leaving the door open in the future for "new partnerships," the game is only planned for the PS3 as of now. >Link

last month there was this big talk about how sony doesn't pay developers for exclusive games.. I laugh when I read this..(somebody got payed enough to cancel PC and 360 version) by the way is it me or did MS get bashed for having lots of FPS? I'm not saying that a certain Company with a certain Console is Jumping on the bandwagon or is try to out due MS console in the FPS Genre.. well thats just what it seems like.

^^ I agree. I noticed an influx of FPS games on the PS3 as well.

its funny how the 360 got bashed on having too many FPS games, yet a stastic i read shows that only 24% of all 360 games are FPS.... maybe 24% is a lot for a genre on console... i dunno =P

You can't help what independant developers are doing? If they decide to make an FPS and someone publishes it, what can you do?

I also think the complaint about too many types of games on a console is ridiculous unless it is minigames sold at full price (cough,Wii,cough). If it is good, FPS, sports, 3rd person action, RPG, who cares?

People who bash Microsoft consoles are usually the same people who have never owned one and think because Halo was Microsofts killer app that it must just be for hardcore FPS. There are alot of different genres on the 360, and the original XBOX had it too. As far as exclusive 3rd party games. It's only obvious especially considering the PS3's smaller install base that Sony paid for exclusive rights. I dont really care seeing as how I now own a PS3 if its worth the purchase I can still get it. Oh BTW Lair is getting creamed in reviews. 1up: 6.0 IGN: 4.9 I wonder what gamespot will give it???

man they just lost a TON of money making this a ps3 exclusive. PC and 360 install base is just massive.

Sorry I had to pull a Krogan there and beat him to it. I am actually upset I like dragons, I like graphics, I like Factor Five as a developer. But somehow even the almighty power of the Cell and Blu-Ray couldnt save this game. :(

lair is pants cos it didnt supply an alternative control scheme. Not everyone likes the sixaxis. After playing flow i got excited about the sixaxis but after trying to play Warhawk with it im kinda not sold on it.

I dont know if im too excited about haze. 4 player coop sounds nice but the game looks kinda meh. Looking forward to a review.

This is exclusive to PS3 because Halo 3 is coming out on 360 and it just can't sell well against it. Better to sell it on PS3 which hasn't had a AAA title yet or a console-defining shooter yet.

Honestly, I've seen the gameplay of Haze (shooting and vehicular) and I'm really not impressed at all. Impressions of the game so far haven't been favorable either. If I had a PS3 I'd take a pass on it like Heavenly Sword.

I coinphrased Sony Suasage Smuggler and Playstation Polsesmoker so I retain the rights to how it is defined :p I am definetly not a Sony NuttHugger, and as of late Microsoft hasnt exactly impressed me either. Nintendo can shove that Wii-mote and recycled/overclocked Gamecube right up its A$$ too. I consider the PS3 an Xbox 360 with Blu-Ray, wifi, and a standard 60GB or larger HDD. I consider PSN a wannabe Xbox Live and therefore the fact that it is free is justified. No way in hell I would pay for it.

As for LAIR's low reviews from IGN and 1up, those are just 2 reviews. 2 reviewers do not make up for the millions of gamers out there. Heavenly Sword got low reviews from a few sources as well, that doesn't make it a bad game. Reviewers are just gamers like us. They have opinions (even biased ones at times) just like everybody else. I feel sorry for ppl who won't play a certain game just because of a few low ratings.

and shur the SIXAXIS controlls can be switched to analog in a patch

Lair got 3 craptastic reviews now. These 3 websites opinions are very highly regarded in this industry. Spin this...

Another correction according to VGChartz no game, not even RFOM or Motorstorm has sold over 850,000 copies for the PS3. So I doubt millions of PS3 gamers are affected by positive or negative reviews. Especially considering that almost 2 million people have bought the PS3 in the US. Thats quite sad. BTW the 360 outsold the PS3 in the US and Europe for the 3rd week in a row. So far Heavenly Sword looks like this:

Ya these "AAA" exclusive games for the PS3 are really faring well huh??? Let me guess these websites are biased towards the 360, or even better Microsoft paid them to give craptastic reviews???



Oh and the 360 version of Madden 2008 destroyed the PS3 version in sales. I wonder why EA Sports decided to concentrate thier development efforts on the 360 platform first. Is it because 360 owners buy games??? Look at the the total software sales and the 360 is usually on top or close to it for the US. Dont just blame the install base, or developers. Blame Sony for the high MSRP of the PS3. Blame Sony for launching the PS3 a year after the 360 including 1 delay so they could put Blu-Ray and HDMI 1.3 in the PS3. Even both have thus far proven unnecessary for videogames. Even worse is with that delay they didnt take the time to get PSN right, or make game development easier. Spin this too please.

itaintrite, if i had a dollar for everytime someone said wait for lair, HS i would be rich, lair is a crap title, sorry for the strong language, but all you need to do is to go to matacritic, and damn it gets high reveiws from reveiwers we know nothing about, and HS well is extremely short, and repetitive, plus had bogus reveiws, these two are flops, you know you have a flop when the title doesnt get a review to even match viva pinata.

yes and there has been trhat thing going on all over the net where all you playstation fans think MS is paying nIGN to do bogus ps3 reveiws, that to me is desperate, between button mashing, shoddy sixaxus controls, and framerate drops, to games that get pretty repetitive, where do you expect to get a good reveiw?????????

and while pimpdaddy may feel sorry for factor 5, i feel no such thing, they bad mouthed everyone while they were riding the tide and all seemed well, they bashed gears and oblivion on having smaller environs, bashed the 360 for not having cell or sixaxis, and the list goes on and on, in my opinion, they blew their horn and fell hard while at it, it would have been better if they kept quiet

Funny, I haven't seen a single post from a PS3 fan boasting about the 360 losing a game to the PS3, yet the 360 fanboys are out in full force regardless.

PS3 is a great console and has some great games with more to come. Get over it.

the title was initially meant to be multiplatform, it isnt, no different from games that started off as ps3 titles and are now 360 exclusives however much they seem like sucking. bottom line is taht all consoles will get better as time passes, btwn you and me, i dont know what is going to rock especially after lair and HS flopped
